CUSTOM-DESIGNED WORKSHOP FOR YOUR GROUP

We have designed presentations on a wide variety of topics, most including audio-visual material. Following is a list of workshops we have presented, accompanied by brief descriptions of content. All these workshops have been designed for the educated general public. Many are adaptable to other audiences as well. We also design and present material on an as-called-for basis.

If your group or organization would be interested in sponsoring a presentation, please e-mail us at: education@sextx.com

If you are interested in being notified when we offer workshops or classes open to the public in the future, please send us your e-mail address. We will add you to the email notification list for future events.

SAMPLE TOPICS

SACRED SEX: Ancient practices centered on the devotion of the erotic couple can benefit modern relationships. Explicit media provide images of specific practices.

MEN'S ORGASM: This workshop is open to women and men who want to know more about the problems and possibilities of male orgasmic response. Using explicit media, we will explore Eastern and Western knowledge of this vital phenomenon. We explore the possibilities for men to experience orgasm more deeply, to learn how to extend erotic sensation, to increase the power of erection as well as orgasm, to become multi-orgasmic.

WOMEN'S ORGASM: Elusive for approximately 20% of American women, orgasm is a very controversial topic. Using explicit media we explore both the difficulties and the possibilities of female sexual pleasure.

ANNIE SPRINKLE'S HERSTORY OF PORN: Her video documentary, with live commentary by our resident pornography expert. Extended clips from Annie's touring stage show and old films are blended with her commentary. Must be seen in its entirety. This is explicit.

PASSIONATE MARRIAGE: Keeping intimate, sexual pleasure alive in a long-term relationship is a challenge for many couples. We explore the work of author and therapist David Schnarch. Learn important facts that can change the odds.

KEEPING IT HOT: Restoring and maintaining passion in a committed, erotic relationship. Explicit images.

SECRETS OF SUCCESSFUL SEDUCTION: Finally, a few suggestions for how to improve your ability to get intimate, including warning signs to pay attention to in modern courtships. Explicit talk. A discussion of male/female differences and similarities in how we are attracted to others and some frank recommendations about how people could make alliance with nature by following certain courtship practices.

TO RIDE A TIGER: An exploration of sado-masochism; utilizes extended clips from the classic video documentary of Dutch Dungeon Mistress Monique Van Cleef, whose clientele included some impressive personages of Europe. Explicit. Whether your goal is to explore this particular lifestyle or to understand what its practitioners have to teach all of us, this evening will touch on important routes to human sexual expression.

BETTY DODSON'S ART: This sex-positive artist and educator is most known for her portraits of female genitals and her advocacy of "sex for one." Her larger body of work illuminates sexual possibilities that transformed as well as documented the last quarter of the 20th century, contributing to the promotion of healthy attitudes/behaviors in human sexuality.

SWINGING, SWAPPING & POLYAMORY: Lifestyle choices that challenge the dominant paradigm for satisfying, nurturing love relationships. What's happening here. How does it work, or not.

ENHANCING WOMEN'S SEXUALITY: Emphasizes approaches to building erotic satisfaction. Explores the differences between female and male in what constitutes "enhancement." Explicit talk and imagery.

EROTICIZING SAFER SEX: Explicit video images document the gay/lesbian community's successful response to the public health menace of AIDS.

CROSS-DRESSING: What is it? What forms does it take? Where does it come from? How do partners find happiness with it? Video clips of couples who are coping with cross-dressing are frank but not sexually explicit.
