Diana Wiley, Ph.D., LMFT: Client Information Statement

She has been a Board-Certified Sex Therapist, Diplomate of the American Board of Sexology, a clinical sexologist, and a Marriage and Family Therapist (California license #MFT 20441) for over 25 years. Soon she will have her Washington State credentials.
Dr. Diana has seen thousands of couples in marriage counseling, co-lead two women's sexuality groups for eleven years, and narrated a number of sex education films for the Sinclair Institute. Her views on relationships, sex, and the erotic make her a true “Sex Doc.”
Her versatility and breadth of expertise have been evidenced on numerous national television and radio programs. Additionally in her media career, Dr. Diana hosted a radio show which ran for five years in Hawaii. Doling out advice in a format that was both entertaining and informative, she became a Honolulu celebrity when she broke such taboos as discussing sexuality and aging on her program.
Wearing her Gerontologist “hat,” Diana was appointed as a Clinton Presidential Delegate to the 1995 White House Conference on Aging.
She has traveled throughout the United States and to four continents to speak at many conferences, including the World Congress of Sexology, the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.
Dr. Diana often speaks about AGING & SEXUALITY. She believes in lust, laughter, and love — and keeping these as priorities in order to improve longevity and enhance quality of life as we evolve and mature. Any age is a great age to strip off the sexual “shoulds” — remembering that sex is play, not work!
